The Remote Group Covid-19 Protocols
This COVID-19 Safety Plan is developed to help create and maintain a safe environment for all employees, customers, contractors, and visitors of The Remote Group (TRG) office.
Below are workplace guidelines and actions that TRG will put in place to keep clients and employees safe:

Ensure a 6ft. distance between personnel unless safety or core function of the work activity requires a shorter distance. Any time personnel is less than 6ft. apart from one another, personnel must wear face masks.

Only one individual shall occupy tightly confined spaces at a time unless all occupants are wearing face masks. If more than one person is occupying the space, occupancy must be under 50% of the maximum capacity.

Use social distancing markers such as tapes or signs denoting 6ft. of spacing in common areas and other applicable spaces on-site (e.g., clock in/out stations, health screening stations).

Limit in-person gatherings as much as possible and use phone or video conferencing. Essential in-person gatherings (e.g., meetings) should be in open, well-ventilated spaces with appropriate social distancing among participants.

Establish designated areas for pick-ups and deliveries, limiting contact as little as possible.

Guidance includes self-isolation details, and link to leave policy with strict instruction to WFH and self-Isolate in the event that they experience any symptoms

Communication

Guidelines
Regularly remind staff not to attend work if unwell with respiratory symptoms or fever. Encourage testing of all staff with symptoms in line with advice from the Department of Health (DOH). Educate staff on the symptoms of COVID-19. The company nurse and HR Team are available to answer questions about what to do if they become ill or are exposed to someone affected.
- Signages are posted throughout the site to remind personnel to adhere to proper hygiene, social distancing rules, appropriate use of PPE, and cleaning and disinfecting protocols.
- A communication plan is in place for employees, visitors, and customers with a consistent means to provide updated information.
- Maintain a continuous log of every person, including workers and visitors, who may have close contact with other individuals at the worksite or area. excluding deliveries that are performed with appropriate PPE or through contactless means; excluding customers, who may be encouraged to provide contact information to be logged but are not mandated to do so.

Hygiene and Cleaning

TRG Provides alcohol-based hand sanitizer at multiple locations throughout the workplace, including entry and exit points.

TRG provides disinfectant surface wipes to clean workstations and equipment such as phones keyboards and mouse.

Dedicated staff are in place to clean surfaces thoroughly, particularly all high contact areas such as doors, handles, kitchen surfaces, bathroom surfaces, printers and lifts with appropriate cleaning agents.

Ensure bathrooms are well stocked with hand soap and paper towels and consider putting up posters with instructions on how to wash hands properly.

Housekeeping staff clean frequently-used areas at least daily with detergent or disinfectant and touch areas and surfaces several times per day.

Maintains disinfectant solutions at an appropriate strength and use in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.

TRG has a process in place to keep a record of the name and mobile numbers or email addresses of all staff, volunteers, visitors, and contractors for a period of at least 28 days while ensuring records are used only for the purposes of tracing COVID-19 infections and are stored confidentially and securely.

TRG’s well-established agile working program and robust IT infrastructure enables all employees to work from home or from alternate locations (Regus). TRG has business continuity plants which are implemented as circumstances dictate, including splitting teams into shifts and among locations to ensure uninterrupted service delivery to our clients.
